93-Year-old Golfer Hits Hole-In-One
Jack Ponsford, a 93-year-old great-grandfather, just got his first-ever hole-in-one at Pannal Golf Club in North Yorkshire, England. It was on the 135-yard third hole, making him a potential record-breaker as the oldest golfer in Britain to accomplish this feat. The previous record holder was 92. Jack’s longtime golfing buddy, 97-year-old George Bruce, was there to witness it! The club gave him a plaque!
There are several golfers here in America that have done that, including 94-year-old Mitch Kaleel of Port St. Lucie who has done it nine times! And Gus Andreone hit his eighth ace at 103-years-old in 2014 making him the oldest to do it!
