Construction Workers Use A Trampoline To Rescue A Child From A House Fire
Three construction workers in Iowa used a trampoline to save a kid from a house fire.
Leick Construction employees John Lewis, Gabe Record, and Damian Pond happened to be nearby and ran over to rescue two women and a girl. But a boy was trapped on the top floor, so that’s when they pulled the trampoline over for him to jump out onto.
Lewis said, “It was black smoke, and we got him down… He jumped out the window under the trampoline, and once he hit the trampoline, I got him away from the building. And we got it up to the side and knew everybody was out at that point.”
All three suffered some injuries in their efforts but everyone survived the fire. The fire department is planning to honor the three men at a later date.
