Bride Invites Parents Of Her Heart Donor To Her Wedding
Greer Underwood got married August 9 in Alabama and had two very special people in the front row for the ceremony. I’m not talking about parents or grandparents…but the parents of the 11-year-old boy whose heart has been beating in her chest since 2011.
Wil and Rhena Worthington’s son Noah passed away in a car accident in May of 2011. Greer at age 11 was diagnosed with cardiomyopathy, in heart failure and had a stroke. Wil decided to donate his son’s organs which not only saved Greer’s life, but saved four other lives.
Rhena said, “To see Greer healthy and happy and walk down the aisle makes us proud of Noah.”
