Organ Recipients Meet Their Donor’s Mother Together
Four organ donor recipients got together in Minnesota to pay tribute to the woman who saved their lives and meet with her mother.
20-year-old Adelyn Miller died after a car crash in 2023 and was an organ donor. Adelyn’s mom, Vicki, reached out to the donors and wanted to meet with them as it would help her heal. Four of the five people her daughter saved all went to Minnesota to meet her and honor her daughter.
Her mom said Adelyn wanted to be a paramedic, so being to help people like this is very much in line with who she was. A man named Dennis got her lungs. Kevin has her liver. Jack got Adelyn’s heart, and Suzie now has Adelyn Miller’s kidney. The recipients and loved ones all then painted rocks that’ll be placed across the world. Each one has a QR code linking to Adelyn Miller’s story and her impact as a donor.
