They want to remain anonymous, but told WKYT they have played the lottery for a long time and usually buy tickets at the counter. After scratching off the first row of numbers, the man said he “checked it 50 times” to make sure his eyes weren’t bad! They took the lump sum of $1,025,000 , which is $738,000 after taxes.
They play to pay off their home and car, possibly retire…and give back to the community. He wants to do little random acts of kindness things, like pay for an elderly couple’s dinner or buy a toy for a child in a store.
