Bus Driver Hailed A Hero After Picking Up Wandering Child
Transit officials in Tampa shared footage of a bus driver named Barbara Baker saving a little boy who walked out into the street.
He wandered away from his home around seven o’clock in the morning and was still in his pajamas. She called it in and held him on his hip while the search for his parents launched. Officers went knocking on doors in the neighborhood, and found the mother of the child within 20 minutes of the incident.
The family lived 2½ blocks away from where the child was found.
