Deland McCullough is a former NFL player who is now the running backs coach for the Las Vegas Raiders. He was abandoned and adopted as a baby, and decided to search out his biological roots after he married and had kids. He found his mother lived 10 minutes from him. And then found his biological father was much closer than anyone could’ve imagined. His birth father is Sherman Smith, McCullough’s former coach, lifelong mentor and role model.
