Mail Carrier Reunites For Another Thanksgiving Dinner With A Customer He Helped
An Illinois family celebrated their second Thanksgiving dinner with a U.S. Postal Service mail carrier who came to their father’s aid last year after he fell while walking the family’s dog. To remind you of the story, last November, 75-year-old Guy Miller was walking his dog Bentley when the dog suddenly took off, pulling him to the ground. 27-year-old Jaylen Lockhart had been working as a substitute mail carrier that afternoon when he saw Guy fall and helped out. To thank him, they invited him to join them for Thanksgiving!
Well, they got together for a second Thanksgiving meal this year, and there was an even more special moment that happened! Jaylen proposed to his girlfriend Sydney in front of the Miller family. Jaylen and Sydney had been high school sweethearts together for 10 years!
