Man Goes Viral Escorting Young Girl Walking To School Alone In Freezing Weather
A Detroit man’s act of kindness has gone viral after he recorded himself walking a 6-year-old girl to school when he found her walking alone in freezing weather without proper winter clothing.
Joshua Threatt saw the young girl walking alone in 10 degree weather without a hat or gloves, so he escorted her while streaming their walk live on Facebook the 10 blocks to her school. He said she was the same age as his youngest, and knew he couldn’t let her walk by herself. He got emotional when he reached the school and explained the situation.
Police were contacted and say this reportedly isn’t the first time this has happened. Authorities are investigating and CPS has been contacted.
