Setting the Bar: James Should Have Listened To His Wife
Bless his heart! First off, James is ok…but had to be rescued by first responders.
James Manitaras found himself DANGLING OFF HIS ROOF, three stories high, after ignoring his wife’s warnings and going up to blow leaves off the roof anyway. Well…he’s 86 and learned it’s not as easy as it used to be. He told first responders who showed up after a neighbor spotted his legs hanging off the side that his “shoes weren’t doing well.” So he decided to get down and CRAWL but he kept sliding closer and closer to the edge. He apologized for causing such a fuss and thanked everyone, but they said they were just there to help.
James says his wife Sharon has been telling him for YEARS that he needs to stop going up on the roof, and to have someone else handle it. It sounds like he’s finally ready to give it up now . . . but who knows. Everyone knows a stubborn old man or woman who claims they’ll stop doing something . . . only to do it again and AGAIN.
