Sabrina Carpenter Appears In New Muppets Trailer With Miss Piggy
On February 4, everything will change. Seth Rogan is bringing back The Muppet Show with a little help from Sabrina Carpenter. The show will air on ABC and stream on Disney +!
It makes perfect sense now that Sabrina Carpenter “arrested” Miss Piggy during “Juno” at her final show of the Short N’ Sweet Tour in Los Angeles because her next big move was to appear on The Muppets Show alongside the beloved felt character. You can even see in the trailer that she calls Miss Piggy an icon.
Like we talked about back in September,
The special aims to serve as a backdoor pilot for a new season of the iconic show that debuted in the 1970s. The special features the Muppets returning to their theater to create a variety show, and longtime Muppet performers will handle most character performances.
