Boy Thanks Police Officers Who Saved Him From An Icy Pond Christmas Day
What a gift for this 8-year-old boy in New York!
Third grader Tayvion fell through the ice in a pond on Christmas Day, and three officers were pivotal in saving his life! They at first try to throw a tethered life preserver for Tayvion to grab onto, but he couldn’t. So plan B was another officer doing an army crawl on the ice to help him grab it. They safely got him back to shore uninjured!
Tayvion got to thank the officers properly during a ceremony commending their efforts and shared a lesson he learned: “Don’t go out on the ice!”
