Neighbors Rescue Woman and Two Kids From House Fire
Neighbors in Baltimore are heroes after saving a woman and her two kids from a house fire.
She was trapped upstairs with her two sons, and the only way out was a bedroom window. Steven Angelini saw the fire from across the street and tried to get a ladder off a truck but couldn’t. This was all captured on a doorbell camera. So he told Ashley Gubernat to drop her kids and he would catch them. He caught the older son, but her second son had a strong grip after watching his brother fall so far. She had to push him out and Angelini caught him. Other neighbors came to help and did get the ladder down so they got the mom out too.
She said her older son recently learned about fire safety at school and told the doctors and nurses he remembered you are supposed to get low, crawl and cover your mouth. And he did that.
