Man Saves Toddlers From Traffic
A guy in Florida stopped traffic on Sunday, and saved two kids who wandered out onto a highway near Cocoa Beach. John Brittingham was in his car when he saw the two toddlers in the middle of the road and knew he had to do something.
With one hand, he stopped oncoming traffic. With the other, he scooped up the first toddler — then quickly grabbed the second — getting both girls out of danger in just a few seconds. Reflecting on it later, he said the sight of the little girls holding their arms out to him was emotional. All of it was captured on his dashcam. He soon noticed an open gate nearby where he found their family who had no idea they wandered off.
He said the whole experience left him drained from the spike of adrenaline that gave him a migraine later. But he was so thankful he was in the right place at the right time.
