Canadian Lottery Winner Hands Out $20,000 In Gift Cards Over The Holidays
A lottery winner in Canada went to a grocery store just before Christmas last month and handed out over $20,000 in gift cards, $300 per card. Mother of 4, Patty Warden hit the lottery in 2024 for $70,000,000 and she’s given a bunch of it away since then.
She told CTV News she wanted to help others because she knows what it’s like to go without. She had a string of of traumatic events, cancer and then descended into drug use ending up homeless. So when she turned her life around, she vowed to use her money to help others.
