Kentucky Kingdom Building New Rollercoaster
Kentucky Kingdom is preparing for take-off of a new season, this time, with a brand-new coaster.
The Flying Fox is the park’s first new coaster since 2019. On Thursday, officials showed off work on the installation and construction of the new attraction. The $14 million coaster is six-stories tall with more than 13,000 feet of track and will reach a top speed of 37 miles per hour, and it’s almost ready to open. The Flying Fox is scheduled to open sometime this Spring.
Kentucky Kingdom’s opening day is set for May 9.
