Kentucky Lottery Winner Arrested For A THIRD Time Since Winning
James Farthing won a staggering $167.3 million Powerball jackpot last April, but was just arrested for a third time since collecting his grand prize. And why was he arrested? Burglary. Weeks after his win last year, his first arrest was in Florida for assaulting a police officer. He’s also currently facing charges in connection to a case out of Scott County, where he reportedly intimidated a witness in the legal process. Oh and there’s an active case he’s involved in for a hit-and-run in Fayette County.
Hard to make sense of that but experts say sometimes winners get irresponsible and don’t know how to handle their newfound wealth.
