Madeline Glynn is 8 years old, and she heard music coming from next door in Cleveland, Her neighbor, 26-year-old Ethan Hayes, was on his porch playing guitar. She wanted to ask him play a song, but she didn’t want to just walk into his backyard uninvited. So she wrote it on a piece of paper and folded it into an airplane. She asked her mom, Natalie Hulec, who also helped her toss it over the fence.

Hayes is a full-time musician that moved in last fall, he plays covers at bars and wineries and writes his own songs. Madeline’s stepdad, Russ Hulec, came to the window to explain what was tossed in the yard and magic happened. Ethan said, “Am I going to say no? Absolutely not.” He played “Love Story.” He needed to look up the words; but Madeline sang every single one. Natalie got the cute moment on video and thought to share on TikTok, and it melted everyone’s heart!
