Elementary Students Raise Money To Save Bald Eagle Habitat

Elementary students in California took it upon themselves to help save a wildlife area, where they enjoyed watching livestreams of a bald eagle habitat.

The area has been threatened by a potential housing development. This isn’t just any wildlife habitat…this is home to the famous bald eagles, Jackie and Shadow! They wrote letters to family, influencers, and celebrities, trying to raise the $10 million needed to prevent the area from being bulldozed.

The campaign has raised around $3 million, which is 30% of the $10 million goal.
