Vet Techs Rescue Baby Coyote With Cactus Spines All Over
This poor baby coyote in Arizona was found covered in hundreds of cactus spines from head to tail but is now recovering. It took wildlife rescuers more than two hours to carefully remove the spines. Vet tech Berkeley of Southwest Wildlife Conservation Center did the delicate work, explaining how each of the spines have barbs that make them tough to remove!
The baby coyote is already doing much better and will be nursed to an adult before being released back into the wild!
