Shuttle Driver Saves Three Lives From Rip Current
A shuttle driver is a hero after rescuing three non-swimmers from rip currents at Louisiana’s Elmer’s Island Wildlife Refuge a few weeks ago. Jordan Matthew was driving some Oklahoma tourists when he noticed them signaling for help.
It started when a young boy got in the water and got trapped by strong currents. Two women tried to get him out, but ended up caught in the rip tide too. Jordan says, “There’s this thing I call ‘absolute focus,’ I activated that in my mind, just locked in and went one by one and went get them,” He said, “They were bobbing under, the waves were crashing over their heads.”
He got the boy to safety first then the women and all survived thanks to him!
