Off-Duty Firefighter Saved Three Kids From Capsized Boat
An off-duty firefighter and medic from Texas saved three children after a boat carrying nine people overturned on a lake on the 4th of July.
Jason Horne has 20 years experience as a first responder and is a father of 4, so he was definitely the right person at the right time for this situation. He was boating with his 12-year-old daughter when people flagged him down about the capsized boat and repeatedly dove under to rescue the three kids. He had to perform CPR on two of them while his daughter called 911.
