Mall St. Matthews Is Charging For Premium Parking And Helping Charity
Mall St. Matthews is now charging shoppers for access to a section of premium parking spaces near its food court entrance.
The 96-space premium parking section rolled out this week. It makes up approximately 2% of the mall’s total available spots. All other parking at the location remains free. Each premium spot is marked with a scannable QR code customers can use to pay. The rate is $2.45 for the first hour and $2 for each hour after that.
It does help out charity… 10% of the parking fees goes to local charity Kosair for Kids, LLC.
