Pilot Skillfully Makes Emergency Landing On A Beach
A small plane made a dramatic landing on Huntington Beach in Southern California after its engine failed shortly after takeoff. Pilot Mike Bremner declared a mayday and skillfully avoided beachgoers as he brought the aircraft down. His nephew Griffin was the only passenger, who thought “we’re cooked.”
Pilot Mike later joked that he told his nephew, “We’re going down, buddy, and we’re going to be on the news.” And yep…he was right about that!
