It’s called “Missed Connections Booth,” and it’s a collaboration between Matchbox (a dating startup), Meet Cutes NYC (a popular social media account), and Faceplace (a photobooth vendor). You pay $10, fill out a 26-page survey and get your picture taken. The machine then prints your photo strip alongside a compatible match from past participants, showing only their photo and first name. So what’s the catch? You don’t get contact info—only a first name and a photo, leaving it up to fate or hunting them down on social media. Apparently, it has made 3,500 matches!!
