Tiny Kitten Rescued From Excavator
Workers at River Reach Construction in Barberton, Ohio, rescued a kitten in July after hearing cries coming from inside an excavator. Operating supervisor Chase Guello freed her, saying, “Here’s our rescue mission of the day.
Normally it’s a piece of equipment, but it’s this little guy.” The kitten was named Komatsu, “Sue” for short, after the excavator brand she was found in. She spent two weeks in foster care before being adopted by the crew mechanic, Jared, and his family.
