Pizza Shop Owner’s Kindness Prompts Donations Across the Country
A pizza shop owner in the Bronx, Daniel Romano, owner of D’ Romano’s Pizza, saw a woman eating out of the trash and decided to invite her in to have a free slice.
After the woman ate, he put up a handwritten sign inviting anyone that’s hungry to come in for a free slice of pizza and water. After word spread, people from across the country began calling the shop to help pay for meals for others.
