David Fisher has three world records for jumping rope while seated on the ground. And now he can add hero to that resume.
Westfield’s David Fisher travels the country to display his rope jumping skills, never knowing they could save a life in his own neighborhood. https://t.co/8MXV49QUGD

A neighbor’s dog ran out onto the icy pond chasing geese and fell through in December. An 18-year-old went out after him and fell through too! He happened to have his bag with double-dutch ropes with him when he saw that happen and pulled him out.
The city of Westfield, Indiana honored him with their Lifesaving Award at a ceremony last week. Another fun fact: he writes children’s books about a jump-roping hero.
