A TV reporter named Tori Yorgey is celebrating the three year anniversary of getting hit by a car on live TV by reposting it on her Instagram. It happened in 2022 while working for the NBC affiliate in West Virginia, and the Today show featured her talking about the experience. Hoda Kotb noted how selfless she was in the moment by immediately assuring the anchor she was ok, and the driver who was immediately remorseful.
