A woman with training in martial arts jumped into action and foiled a convenience store robbery!
Karate black belt, 42-year-old Mairi Kerin, was at the counter buying chocolate treats for her nieces when the hooded man came into the store in Shropshire, England—and surveillance video captured the whole thing.
When she heard the clerk ask why the guy put something by the door, he replied “because I’m going to take all your money.” Then Kerin seized the moment and her 20 years of karate training kicked in, literally, and sent the perp running. And she did it all in new heels she was breaking in! That actually ended up helping police find the three people involved in a string of robberies in March 2023!
