Michigan Man Returns Wallet Full Of Cash Found In The Road
Donnie Hanson found a wallet in the middle of the street in Wyandotte, Michigan, and made it his mission to make sure it got back to its owner!
Michelle Johnson looked through her surveillance video Monday and saw a stranger standing on her porch holding her son’s wallet, she didn’t know what to think at first. Hanson was running errands for work but took the time to deliver the wallet, which belonged to Johnson’s 25-year-old son and had $100 in tips he earned at his job. Hanson ended up leaving a message on the doorbell camera and hiding it behind some decor on the porch.
Johnson said she almost cried when she saw the video and found the wallet. She said, “You might not realize what something small does for someone else, but even the smallest act of kindness goes a long way.”
