Mini Dachshund Found After 500 Days on an Island
Josh and Georgia lost their miniature dachshund Valerie on Australia’s Kangaroo Island in 2023. They spent two weeks looking but then had to go home without their precious Valerie!
But then a wildlife rescue group said they had video evidence of Valerie alive and well…living her best life on a permanent vacation! They were shocked that Valerie had managed to survive on her own, saying she was a “princess” and “not a very outside” dog. Wildlife rescuers recently set up camera traps in hopes of finally capturing Valerie and putting an end to her 500-day island vacation. They have renewed hope they’ll be reunited soon!
