Message In A Bottle From Hawaii Found In Florida
A kid from Michigan on vacation in Florida found a message in a bottle that two kids in Hawaii tossed in the ocean 8 years ago. Eleven-year-old Josie found it on Anna Marie Island, and her mom called the number on the note.
The note read: “Hello, people who found this. You will be happy that you found this. Why? Because you will know me with this number.”
Josie’s mom, Paris Hoisington sent a text message to the phone number and a 21-year-old woman answered who had written it! She wrote it at age 13 with her 8-year-old younger brother after they had found a message in a bottle and were inspired to write their own! She never imagined anyone would find it.
