Brutal Break Ups
We break down some of the, we’ll say “unique” ways, people have been broken up with…or dumped someone! Some highlights:
- Karen: I got the “I’m Just Not Feeling It” Text. We went on three dates. He sent a six-word text that said, “Hey, you’re cool but I’m out.” Honestly, not mad. It was never going to work.
- Dana: I was Ghosted Mid-Vacation Planning. We were planning a weekend trip to Nashville… then he disappeared like a magician. Poof. No explanation. Just blocked me on everything. Hope he enjoyed the Airbnb I booked.
- Rachelle: He was too “emotional” to tell me himself. So he told my best friend to “let me down gently.” She delivered the message over margaritas. I tipped her for the emotional labor.
- Sara: He Faked a Family Emergency…. Said he had to “move back to Ohio” because his mom was “sick.” Two weeks later I saw him on a friend’s IG story… at a bar… in town. His mom was never sick. Ohio was never real.
- Stephanie: Not me but my brother broke up with girls over ice cream
