Rescue Diver Saves 165 People In Texas On First Rescue Mission
Coast Guard swimmer Scott Ruskan is being called a hero for saving 165 people in the devastating floods at Camp Mystic in Texas. Even more astounding is that this is his first rescue mission!
They encountered some of the worst weather they’ve ever had to fly in…what should have been an hour flight ended up being 7 or 8 hours! Ruskan had been training for a year but this was his first mission, and ended up being the only first responder at Camp Mystic to get nearly 200 kids to safety and higher ground.
