Kitten Survives 100 Mile Trip Stuck Under An SUV
A couple of women had driven over a hundred miles from Sacramento to Santa Cruz, California and when they stopped, they heard a kitten meowing. They couldn’t find it in the vehicle, so they took it to a body shop. Amelia and Ellie Escalante took it to mechanic, Max Eder, who spent SEVEN hours searching for and freeing the kitten.
Max said It was a challenge as the kitten was terrified. Every time they got close to grabbing her, she would run deeper into the car, but he refused to give up. He got her out and she was “crying like a banshee”. The kitten managed to survive hours on the road with the heat, exhaust, and high speed of the freeway. Ellie has adopted the kitten and named it Rover since it was stuck in a Land Rover. She said it took about an hour for her to warm up to her, and then she was purring a happy again!
