9-Year-Old Handing Out Compliments Captures The Internet’s Heart
Many kids set up lemonade stands at the end of their driveway as a sweet way to make some money and deliver smiles to neighbors. But 9-year-old Ethan Wargo in Illinois had a different model for his driveway business and it had nothing to do with making money or a sweet beverage. He’s handing out complimentary…compliments.
CBS’ Steve Hartman paid him a visit to get the backstory for this idea. He was inspired by his “Dog Man” graphic novel that had a picture of an insult stand LOL! He didn’t think that was a good idea, so he went the opposite direction. At first, business was slow until his dad posted about it on social media. Then people started showing up, some even driving an hour to get their compliment!
