Cook Saves The Life Of A Regular Customer After Missed A Few Days
At the Shrimp Basket in Pensacola, Florida…the customers are treated like family. And that certainly played out for a 78-year-old regular.
Donell Stallworth works as a cook and says he noticed this man, who like clockwork would come in at 11am every day for a cup of gumbo, hadn’t been in for a few days.
So Stallworth when to the man’s house to check on him, and found him lying on the ground. It turned out he’d fallen, broken some ribs, and couldn’t get up! “He was in tears, like, ‘I don’t even know how long I’ve been here,’ and he was in pain,” Stallworth said. He called 911 and now two weeks later, the man is on the mend in rehab.
