5-Year-Old Goes Home With New Heart After 975 Days In The Hospital
This is an extraordinary amount of time to spend in the hospital but a 5-year-old is FINALLY going home!
After nearly three years in the hospital, one community decided to surprise a five-year-old and her family as they came home.

Sienna Barton just went home after nearly 1,000 DAYS in the hospital. She was born with a heart condition, congenital heart defect called hypoplastic left heart syndrome. That’s where the left side of the heart doesn’t develop fully and can’t pump blood well. She finally got a transplant a few months ago because another family chose organ donation. She checked into the hospital at age two, and spend 975 days there!
So for her homecoming, the neighbors SHOWED OUT! They decked the whole town in pink and purple streamers and welcomed her with balloons and sweet homemade posters!
