A Woman Tried Out For The Denver Broncos Cheerleaders At 64…For An Obituary Story
A woman in Colorado tried out for the Denver Broncos Cheerleaders at 64….to spice up her obituary.
Diane Reitz lived in Colorado and by all accounts lived life to the fullest. She and some family members who had this goal to go have interesting adventures that might spice up their obituaries and for Diane, she came up with the idea to try out for the Denver Broncos Cheerleaders at the age of 64.
Diane met her husband, Jim, 45 years ago and he says she had many adventures to add to her story, including skydiving, whitewater rafting, riding a motorcycle and driving a racecar. She even became a mail-order minister, just in case. A colorful obituary indeed…she just didn’t imagine those stories would be recapped in her obituary so soon.
Jim and Diane’s four decades of adventures together were cut short unexpectedly this November due to complications following a surgery. She was 68. But her story paints the picture of a life well-lived and a woman well-loved.
