Movie About Kentucky’s ‘Ethan Almighty’ Starts Filming In Kentucky In The Spring
A movie featuring the story of a very special Kentucky dog officially has a lead actor and filming schedule.
The movie will be based on the true story of Ethan’s recovery after being found severely abused and near death in the parking lot of the Kentucky Humane Society. His organs were shutting down. His recovery captivated the city and nation and led Ethan to become a mascot and voice for animals everywhere, including campaigns for stronger animal rights laws, including Ethan’s Law.
The movie is set to start shooting next spring in Kentucky. Actor Sean Patrick Flannery (Boondock Saints, Powder, The Adventures of Young Indiana Jones) is set to star as Jeff Callaway, the man who adopted Ethan.
