High School Sweethearts Reconnect Through Spotify Playlist Messages
High school sweethearts Kayla Sentell and Trenton Miller married November 13 in Las Vegas after reuniting through secret Spotify playlist messages.
They were together for 12 years, high school sweethearts and broke up in February of 2024 and they were both heartbroken about it. Neither is on social media…so they ended up reconnecting 8 months later when Kayla discovered Trenton’s playlist titled “alasKa” with a capitalized K matching her name. He kind of created a mixtape of songs for her!
She responded with her own playlist “This is about you,” ending with song titles “If You See This,” “Call Me,” “I Wanna Be Yours.” Trenton replied by updating his playlist with “If You See This,” “Speak Now,” “I Want You Back.”So Kayla called him November 3, 2024, and they got back together. And at their wedding ceremony, Spotify surprised them with a personalized congratulations video from Teddy Swims, one of Trenton’s favorite artists!
