Influencer Elevates Her Local Angel Tree Program
An influencer named Allie Green in New Jersey went to Walmart to grocery shop and was struck by how many tags were still on the Angel Tree. She wanted to do something so she made a video encouraging followers to pitch in and buy Angel Tree gifts for underprivileged kids. Within the first hour, her video reached nearly 2,000 views…then 10,000, and then over a million views!

She was hoping to clear the whole tree of tags, but found out that’s not possible, they just keep adding more tags no matter what. The Walmart employees saw the video so every time she goes back to drop off gifts or shop, she checks in with customer service and shares updates with her TikTok followers.
