All Passengers Pitch In On Big Tip For Flight Attendant
Flight attendant Brittney Bluitt is really glad she checked the sick bag before just tossing when a passenger handed it to her.
During drink service on a holiday flight, a passenger gave Bluitt the closed bag saying “This is for you.” She told PEOPLE magazine she thought it was something that needed to be thrown away, but later opened the bag in the galley and found $208 CASH.

She found out every passenger had contributed a tip. “That’s when it really hit me,” she said. The timing proved perfect because she had been worried about being able to buy Christmas gifts for her parents. “It may not seem like a huge amount to some, but it was an incredible blessing to me,” she explained. Bluitt shared the experience on TikTok to give people hope there are kind humans all around. “That moment reminded me that even when I don’t know how I’m going to get through something, God is always watching and providing.”
She pointed out tips are rare, but when they do happen they typically aren’t more than $25.
