People online are donating money to help a 92-year-old lady in Florida retire.
Muriel Connick works at a Burlington store in Pompano Beach, on her feet clearing out the dressing room and moving racks of clothes. April Steele spotted her one day and was stunned to find a woman her age working. She found out Muriel can’t retire because her social security won’t cover her expenses or needed home repairs. The ladies talked to Inside Edition about a GoFundMe Steele set up for Muriel!
Last we checked, the GoFundMe was up over $97,000. Part of the GoFundMe money will go toward fixing the floors and making her home safer. Connick says as soon as she gets the money, she’s quitting her job!
