71-year-old Shelly Murphy jokes her friends say she should open a business called “Shelly’s Deli” after all the attention her sandwiches have gotten online!

The reason they got attention is because of WHERE Shelly’s deli was set up…on a flight from Salt Lake City to Boston. Murphy stocked her carryon backpack with all the ingredients to make large hoagie sandwiches for each of her seven relatives on their 5-hour flight. She spread out the rolls across the tray tables and piled on cheese, pickles and onions. She handed a sandwich to everyone in the family, husband, kids, and in-laws.
Someone in the comments asked why she wouldn’t just make the sandwiches before the flight and the answer was she didn’t want them to get soggy. There were some haters talking about germs and the smell but most were talking about how sweet it was she wanted to take care of her family!
