Woman Confronts Porch Pirate With Kindness
A South Philadelphia woman stepped in with empathy rather than anger when she spotted someone trying to steal a neighbor’s package.
Bernadette Williams reacted on instinct when she saw the woman reaching for a package off a porch across the street. The exchange was caught on a doorbell camera where Williams offered the woman the money in her pocket and told her “you’re better than that.”
