Truck Driver Helps Clear A Busy Road For A Safe Emergency Landing
A nineteen-year-old pilot named Niko Bray was forced to make an emergency landing on a road in Florida when his small plane suddenly lost power just minutes after takeoff. Lucky for him, a truck driver was able to slow traffic on the busy road, clearing a path so the plane could touch down smoothly and safely.
He said he’s flown that plane many times before and got his commercial pilot’s license a year ago. The gravity of the situation hit him when he saw him mom and was able to give her a hug. “Very grateful for her. She’s funded my dreams of becoming a pilot,” Bray said. “I’m glad to be able to hug her again, for sure.”
