Viral Update: 81-Year-Old Plays With Savannah Bananas
Remember the 81-year-old who sent an audition tape to the Savannah Bananas?? That’s 81-year-old Robb Herrelson from Missouri who is a veteran, and the only baseball coach in town for the last 32 years.
Owner Jesse Cole called Rob Herrelson to say he saw the audition and invited him to come play with the team!! Herrleson is a longtime coach and fan of what the Bananas have brought to the game he loves. His jersey number is, of course, 81 and the name says “Old Man”…and he made his debut riding that bike!
How great is that?
