This Cat Keeps Hopping Over The Canadian-U.S. Border Daily
Louis Vuitton is a six-year-old cat from South Surrey, British Columbia, has become an internet sensation for casually crossing the Canada-U.S. border daily without documentation.
He leaps across a narrow ditch on Zero Avenue that marks the international boundary between his Canadian home and Peace Arch Historical State Park in Washington. Owner Deb Tate says Louis ignores border cameras and patrol guards, greeting people on both sides for “pats and belly rubs.”
An Instagram video featuring the “border-hopping kitty” has gained over 220,000 likes and three million views. Tate reports Louis smuggles items home from his adventures, including “snakes and mice and squirrels” and doesn’t even declare them, LOL!
